Hmmm, it's not the money so much as the perceived value - for me 1700 is too much for 4 bits of molded plastic that won't even work with the OE rock guards!
I know what it costs to make molds like that & have them 'run' (my bro is in the business), it's not like they are custom made from billet AU or solid chrome.

Feel the same way about these nano coating dudes too, just too much for what they deliver.

I'm with coolblue, if they were more reasonably priced they would be flying off the shelf, but it's his business to run as he see's fit.
I keep hoping AVS see's the light & makes something similar instead of the big garish ones they offer currently.

Rear only, not my car. My issue is that it just looks like something is missing from the front if you do the rear only. The front fenders won't have the same profile as the rears after you do the rear flares.

You're right. I do think matching body color would help, but what would really make it work (rear only) would be if he added a dimple/crease around the flare matching the factory sheet metal look. Then I could just widen the rear and not the front and I think it would look really good--the way it should have come from the factory.

They work with the ZL1 splash guards though which are higher quality than the Mopar splash guards and cheaper too.

makes perfect sense...till you look at the car with them on...but given the fact I am the King of all idiots on the forum...don't get in the habit of expecting too much clarity of thought from my posts...

If they actually increased wheel/tire clearance, they’d be worth every penny. For an awesome appearance mod, it’s a personal choice. Imo.

I thought Hunter was able to get wider tires on due to them? Its the only reason I would entertain spending the kind of cash.

AFAIK, they cover more of the tire but they don’t create any more wheel well space.
