Got bounced after round 4, it was very competitive. Hellcat's with stock electronic throttle controls cannot hit a tree to save their fucking lives.

Guy has a 6.1 in a plymouth satellite and cable throttle body. 0.053 trees... fml...

I've struggled with that as well. @hellno told me that a long time ago. By the time you see the yellows flash, push the throttle, and the computer and throttle blade react it's hard to beat a .1xx RT in these cars.

I've thought about a 2 step or something that gets the throttle and throttle blade stuff done, but not sure how those work on these modern cars.

I think if you are staged further in and on the converter some it will react faster. My best is a .09 but .200 is more common. I will have a pro tree tomorrow so we will see

Yeah you can play with the staging and stage deep helps, but it's tricky. I've lost races because the front tires pushed through the beams, etc. Sportsman is a non issue but pro tree has been hard for me. Almost feels like I have to guess.

I whooped up on one of the 10.00 Jeeps in Michigan but he won on the tree due to the trans brake.

That’s what sucks about competing and why I haven’t yet, reaction time will get you and only so much you can do in these cars without a trans brake

Nice pass, sorry you didn't win. He was defiantly on the brakes at the end. Can see he had you by 6 mph at the 1/8th but you had him by 9 mph in the 1/4. He was lucky that he didn't break out. You would have to beat him on RT to make him break out.
RT is where it's won or loss most the time.

As far as sand bagging goes. If I have a car that runs 9.3 I’m to slow for heavyweight so you have to slow down for 9.5. Most people don’t have a tuner who will adjust a tune for the weekend. Heck I always set the car a little fast so if I spin a little I can make up ground.
