I’ve yet to make the effort to find a decent backdrop. Hopefully one day this summer I’ll find somewhere and take some new ones.

Yeah that's true, I think maybe my skills need a little work on the rear quarters. The rear shot you took looks really good.

As far as the backdrop goes it doesn't have to be anything crazy, I think sunsets/rises make for the best shots, greenery is nice as well.
