I agree 100%. I've had my SC for 53 years. In my younger days, I went to the drags on Friday eve and to beat the Chevies, was an absolute thrill. Amazing, that little Red/White/Blue Rambler was a serious contender...
Didn't care much for it when new...now it's cool for sure...

If I remember, I was turning about 14 in the quarter. I ran in ET's and Bracket on Friday evening, what a thrill. I had traction problems, even with big tires on the rear. The Chevy people always ask what kind of motor I had, 390 AMC, they gave me a funny look...
Please post another photo of it @RAMBLE1

The only FWD car I’ve ever owned. 2007 Monte Carlo SS for a daily driver. It was a big, roomy, comfortable car with great power coming from the 5.3 V8 and it sounded great as well.

120,000 miles never had a single issue other than it liked oil. Trans was slipping when I traded it in.

'03 Silverado 5.3 extend cab. The only time it failed was when my wife was driving home from work on 95 in MA, the OEM fuel pump puked. Had it for 21 years but it was too rusted to keep. Very comfortable, quiet, reliable, sad to lose it.
I have an "03" Yukon (spare plow vehicle)...165,000 mile rust bucket we call the war wagon...runs like a top...and drives like a Bently

13 years ago I got a smokin deal on a 74 Firebird Formula 400 4 speed. I couldn't pass it up especially being a stick shift guy. I put some money into it and it was well worth it. I'm MOPAR muscle through and through but I love my Firebird. It's so comfortable. It rides real nice. It looks good and runs great. 13 years later, I'm still driving it and enjoying it.

In "76"...cool DD's were far and few in between...bought my first and only Pontiac...76 TransAm 455...back then you could custom order everything (no group packages)..silver...bird delete..(extra 35.00)..honeycomb wheels..air..manual trans.black standard seats (didn't like the puffy optional seats) the standard seats were like the early 70's Z28 seats...and roll up windows..(was not a fan of power windows back then....it was a slug...but was a really fun DD back then

Either a 1985 Mustang SVO or a 85 Shelby Charger (Turbo 5 spd).
Both were new cars not long after I graduated high school and entered the Air Force, and for the day they were nice performance cars. Although not too expensive, they were still more than I could afford on an E2's salary... lol

I currently have an '08 Honda Fit that I kept from my mothers estate. I never really cared for it the handful of times I drove it when it was newer. We have a Ridgeline and Pilot and have owned Hondas for 30 years. Had this shipped from CA to PA for $1350. Rust free, gets over 30 mpg, just turned 118k miles and I drive the hell out of it.
