We have an X5M Comp and a cat, the cat is on E85 with a 2.6 pulley, around town the X5M crushes my car, on the freeway, it's a different story. The X5 is a whole different car, the comfort and finish is so much better, but the again the hellcat was 1/2 the cost.

A stock Plaid runs higher 4s 60-130 and your Jeep is probably low 4s… like 4.teens - right? Thats not a 10 car gap my man… I’d like to see it happen. Prove me wrong ;)
I drove a plaid a couple nights ago. I do not feel that my cat can beat it, especially off the line. And unlike the model S it did not seem to slow down at 100.

I drove a plaid a couple nights ago. I do not feel that my cat can beat it, especially off the line. And unlike the model S it did not seem to slow down at 100.
It definitely doesn’t slow down at 100. Did you like it?

I loved it except for that yoke steering wheel.
At least it had a steering wheel! :ROFLMAO: Next generation will think of a steering wheel like we think of a crank starter!

As I implied, you could simply buy a Plaid and show them up, but you probably would not be as happy as you are with the HC. You can always do a pulley and E85 tune, and the HC engine will do just fine with it. The stock BMW is probably already pushed to its limit.

I am sure the only happiness the BMW owners is finding a car they can beat. Other than that, they are all miserable SOB's.
I bet they all have small peckers too:ROFLMAO:

wow i just had a roll on encounter with a redeye charger a couple days ago. it was fast and sounded like a pro stocker obviously with aftermarket pipes,in the denton texas area. was wondering if it was anyone here. i wanted to get him or her to pull over but they turned off before i got a chance. my base M5 doesnt quite have the power of the competion model but its still fast. they jumped me on the hit from i guess around 50 or 60 and the front of my hood was at the back of his rear door and it pretty much stayed that way until we backed off around 100 or so, probably not the smartest thing but i love to put the pedal down from time to time,. i do have a radar detector though. i believe all US M5s are restricted to around 160 unless you get a track day from BMW or get remapped

yes the S 68 motor in the m5 can only go safely to 800 WHP before you need to upgrade to forged internals.

You would probably need pulley, injectors and fuel pump + e85 and drag radials/beadlocks to put up a good fight.

Yes, sea level, not so bad in summer, but as soon as it cools, it's like driving on ice. Was out today, probably last drive this year, cleaned and covered it. With the P0AS 275's, I need to be gentle on the throttle all the time. The slightest push breaks them loose. Not such a bad thing! :ROFLMAO:

These cars are so much GD fun!!!! If I won the lotto, I might buy a Plaid to ring it out, but then I'd be done. Hell, I've been thinking about doing that anyway! But even if I won lotto, the BMW would still not be on the radar.

I don't drive fast, I am a careful old man. I NEVER test the limits in a corner, had enough of that decades ago. A fast Porsche or BMW would do nothing for me. BTW: When I was young, I DREAMED about owning a 911, but when I was able, I bought a Vette instead.

In the HC, every time I have a straight clear field in front, I lean on it, and it gives me everything I ever dreamed of. It is almost a joke to have such excess power. I do not see the same satisfaction coming from a BMW or Porsche, even it it is faster on the street, I am thrilled with what I have and barring a lotto, will not change! :)

The bmw is just turbos and awd.

Owning both cars the redeye is extremely fun and Raw in its own right but the g80 m3 (tuned) is just a different animal.

The m3/m5 literally have viperesque handling with hellcat levels of power with technology from this century like heads up display, 360 degree cameras, complete digital dash, etc etc

M cars are just a faster more complete hellcat.

Oh yeah did I mention the m3/m5 can completely disconnect the front axle so you can drop a burnout in the box or on the street for no prep at the touch of a button in the car.

Hellcats will always hold a special place in my heart but my g80 sh*ts on the redeye in every way possible.

On 93 car will make 650whp
E50 car makes 750whp
Car weighs 3950lbs

They're beatable you just need built motor type cars (hellcat/m3/gtr) or twin turbo huracan/r8, or mclaren 765lt, etc etc

Just ridiculously fast cars
