I had extra hold downs put in. Pretty soon the floor will be nothing but them and tracks.
Anything wrong with that?

I just need to figure out how to effectively attach to the wheels.

Nothing like tripping over shit.

Crazy glue an alligator to the floor, then let it grab the ATV.

Crocodiles are the new alligators.

I'm rolling around on the floor and sweating my old, fat ass off but it sure keeps it locked down.

Mine is super low for some reason. I had to get special ramps installed so it wouldn't tear up the splitter.

🤣🤣🤣
Just curious....How come both you guys are so fat...:unsure:

They don't. Never leave a mark.
I'd seen this done on open trailers and just figured it was the easiest option and didn't care about the rims so much

There's sleeve that goes over the strap.

What trailer are you going to use?
I have an 18' steel with diamond plate deck and 2' dovetail. I haven't measured but I did early on make the fenders removeable for hauling large items. Even when mounted you can open a door on a stock Fiero.

I like to tie down below the suspension.
Okay. Nothing seems to help, enjoy!

I have tied many a beautiful bikes used for racing through shows, right down to the floor and hardly no bouncing permitted for the trip. We have torqued them right down to almost no space remaining in the shock travels. Things ride much better solidly connected. To leave some suspension bounce always allows hopping around and scratching and ultimately a failure IMO. Compared to the suspension on one of those little things, my custom and my Harleys are much more expensive and sensitive. I see nearly infinite opportunities for a cheap and secure tie downs on any ATV. I would grab four of those loops, four straps and have one of those solid in about 10 minutes for ya.

It came loose right after I checked it and it bounced around scratching a cabinet door 1 time. I haven't been taking it to the track because of this.

Fortunately I had traffic cones between it and the door or the damage would of been much worse.

Yep, this is a cheap atv. I bought it because of its size and the price since it's only used at the track.

Why is it the greatest ideas seem to cause the most frustration sometimes?

I like D Gatzby's solution
I'm going to go look at some different straps and see what I can find.

Im looking for a front bumper load bearing tow hook. I was looking at the petty garage attachments but they will push up on the bumper at the angle of the tilt. Who is using/recommends what? 😁
