I’m running a 315 tire in the rear on a 11 inch replica with no issues on my Challenger! It looks badass with that staggered look.315/35/20 traction is awesome. Who's rims you using and what offset? Those are exact replicas of my RE rims and would match perfect. Also those tires are Nitto's correct? @Blkout, as I have read elsewhere, said they run a little narrow so maybe that's why the success. BTW don't want to steal the thread but how's the King Kong cam doin'?
PK Auto Design makes them. They were a vendor on the other HC forum. There located in SoCal. I believe it is a 21 off set I’m not sure though.
Ya the tires are Nitto NTO5’s.
The next tire will be the Mickey Thompson ‘s 305/35/20 DR for abit better traction on the street with the new power level I’m at.
The Cam is awesome. I’m glad I did it. Thanks for asking. Also Blkout is correct. All 315’s tires are different in diameter. Call Paul at PK Auto Design he knows everything about the challenger and charger wheel and tire combo in running 315’s. There is always a 3mm spacer option available too.

1 more thing. If anyone is gonna run some 11inch wheels and some 315’s get the Mopar splash guards your gonna need them.

I don't mind if the tire sticks out from the fender by a quarter inch, but my concern is if on a dip, or hit a bump, will the tire hit the fender, or is the stock bumpstop set such that it will not hit?

My only concern with the 305 is that the rolling diameter is a full percent off from the 275, so while the 305 seems like the obvious choice that is the reason I am seeking more answers as I am by no means am expert on this topic.

What is the rim width and offset that gets that 335 in there. I know you have the Philips flares, but they're not rubbing on the inside? or hitting the quarter panel rear wheelwell lip? I love a fat ass and those 335's look like Jaylo wear'n a thong and lettin' the fat show. LOL

What is the rim width and offset that gets that 335 in there. I know you have the Philips flares, but they're not rubbing on the inside? or hitting the quarter panel rear wheelwell lip? I love a fat ass and those 335's look like Jaylo wear'n a thong and lettin' the fat show. LOL
I don't know the offset but the rim width is 20x11.5". I had Paul at PK Auto Design build them, I just told him how much extra space the flares added to the width of the car and he did the math. And, they're not rubbing on the inside or hitting the quarter panel lip.

The 305 difference is not an issue. the sensor at the rear/driveshaft compensates so no speedo issue and seemingly no ABS issues either. the height diff is there but is barely noticeable.

Heres my 2017 Challenger HC experience.
Bought PKAD HR5's 10.5 ×20" with their standard +25 offset for the rears.
I chose Continental ECS 305/35/20s
First install: slight rub inner plastic liner.
Second install after heat gun: still slight rub
Third install after trimming liner with blade:
No rub, but tire within knatsass of metal on
Inner wheel wheel. Hmmm
Fourth install with above adjustments and 1/8"
spacer. All good, no problems.
Talked to Paul PKAD. Cont ECSs tend to run a bit larger than other same size tires. Not all Challenger wheel wells exactly the same. Definitely less room than Charger. No worries using 3mm spacer.
Overall totally happy with final outcome. How people fit 315 or larger without sticking out beyond fender...no idea!

Yep, I would always a recommend a 3mm spacer first before cutting the car. That will usually do the trick.

My 11.5 x 20 Triumph's were designed by Bismarck @TRIUMPH , so have no idea on offset. Asked him if he could build me a wheel that would work with the flares and not require any inner mods.

Great call, I have been looking at tire specs for differences, and noticed some are different sizes due to rounding. I also own a Wrangler and have a similar issue, certain tire brands run bigger than others, and will then rub the fender lip.

Sounds like I need to do my homework on tires and then make a call to Paul at PK to see what the best pairing would be for my situation.

Cosmetic and it could throw more debris on the car

Thank you for all the replies! Not a big deal as we already have splash guards, but we can throw some PPF on the rear quarter panels to give a little more help.

much like widths varying from tire to tire, you'll also find a range of diameters. tallest 305/35/20 I'v found are M&H Racemasters, sidewall profile is closer to 37%, so within 1/10" of the P0 315/35 or 274/40. will be giving them a shot [on a pair of Biz's works of art] as soon as things dry out around here, and warm up a bit
