I'm sure this has been discussed a lot.

Is there any fitment difference between the standard Challenger Hellcat, wide body, and Demon axles?

My 2016 standard Challenger Hellcat has a torn boot on an axle and is spraying grease under the car. The dealership tells me I have to replace the whole axle. OK. If so, I was interested in putting sturdier Demon/Redeye axles on the car. There is a bunch of conflicting info out there about spline count differences reference compatibility.

I've sourced the OEM Demon/Redeye axles. I just need to confirm "bolt on" status before I pull the trigger on the purchase.

Can I just bolt on Demon/Redeye axles on my standard body car?

Is there any difference between the standard body and wide body axles?

Is there anything else I should be aware of putting Demon/Redeye axles on my stock Hellcat?

Thanks!

Yes, the RE axles fit, I’ve ran them on my 16 M6 NB Challenger Hellcat. Spine count difference is in the Axle bar ends into the CV’s not spine count into the diff or wheel hub. Just be sure you have tone rings on the replacement axels or you’ll be taking them back out to put them on.
