What do you think of your Redeye?

I didn't even break 500 and I love it lol. Im coming from a 17 zl1 vert. While I liked the camaro a lot I knew as soon as I test drove one it was not enough HP and was to tight when I got in but was the only sports car available at the time for 65. Im Not a vette guy at all. I guess im really old school. Cant wait to break 500 lol

I haven’t found anyone I can trust to drive my 2019 Redeye Challenger while I drive my 2015 Hellcat Challenger that has some mods so I did some comparison driving today since the Redeye is past break in miles.

Don’t want to upset anyone but I know my 2015 Hellcat would walk away from my Redeye. I did a WOT 30 to 100 and a 60 to 120 and 2015 felt so very much stronger. The shifting points and throttle response on the 2015 were so very much more aggressive. I think it would be an easy win for the modded 2015. As important were the cooler temperatures on the 2015. Some significantly lower temperatures on the 2015.

additionally they both hit 14psi of boost.

I’m not happy about this at all but it is what it is.

Now don’t burn me down but I just wanted to share.

Have you had it checked out by the dealer yet? My car makes 15psi. I think it maxed out at 15.2psi

Was directly involved getting the original Viper out of a Skunk Works into the production plant to build units, was on the Small Car Platform Leadership Team that developed the Viper Coupe and assisted Performance Vehicle Operations (PVO - Now SRT) in having access to suppliers that allowed use of many performance vehicles during my career at Chrysler. Vipers were always entertaining and a handful to drive but having a Neon SRT Mule for the weekend that was not emissionized and a year before production was one of the memorable drives until getting the Redeye. OMG - No or little traction on 50 to 60 mph rolls may require getting some new shoes. Very tame and civil when my foot not into it but stomp on the pedal and unleash the Beast. Then there is that addicting supercharger whine. Almost 70 years old and couldn't be happier.....
