What is your timeline? Will be visiting Durango, CO shortly. Won't be with Hellcat, so don't have to worry about @Jimmy N.'s 2 door Charger conversion with his welder.

As soon as I can get my mountain home built, strange times we are in with who wants to work, and supply chain, oh and lets not forget price of wood lately.

I have been to Durango, nice place to visit. Enjoy the trip, also if you can squeeze in a detour north up 550 on the Million Dollar Highway I think you would would really enjoy the ride even if it’s not in the Hellcat, you can’t go wrong.

My buddy just got a Superformance Cobra R ordered. His will have some kind of NASCAR inspired 600HP V8. Should be here in the fall I think, or spring I can't remember. I'm gonna check that thing out and that may be on the short list since nothing else is really of interest.

The AWD Vette I'll definitley check out but I don't do ADM or even MSRP for that matter so there's that.

I thought about putting my 5.0 in a factory five cobra hardtop about 15 years ago. My 3300 lbs mustang ran low 9's. With the lighter weight, that thing would have been stupid

@vortecd The factory five can be very competitive in road racing, they are only 45 mins from where I am. I think they do factory tours, would love to go check them out. Their cars are fairly popular around here because of proximity to the their shop. @Speedy! It may be worth checking and comparing can’t hurt it free to shop and educate on what’s out there. I have given thought to this platform off and on over the years. With the wind down of our platform that very thought comes to mind more often lately. Horsepower to weight ratio very simple formula to achieve fast fun times.

I have been looking @ Backdraft's offerering for years...got close..in 18 I scored the msrp Demon...in 20 I scored the msrp C8...now the same Backdraft I spec out in 2018...is up over 30 grand...it had value in 18...now..not so much..
