The name “Hellcat” has to have something to do with the roar they make at wide open throttle! You are just not going to get that with an EV. They can call it a “Whisper Jet”.

According to an Engineer at Dodge, they name their power plants after warbirds and that is why the 6.4L 392 is known as the "Apache". The supercharged 6.2 is named after the WW2 vintage Grumman Hellcat.

No hate here and truly sharing information. I think I am now understanding why Ford named the new Mach E after the Mustang and if you watch my new video I just published its about half way. The new Mach E was actually designed to handle like the Mustang and the key Product Manager in the Jay Leno Video I posted explains in better detail whats happening. The Mach-E truly feels tighter and more connected to the road than the Ice Mustang and WOW. I mean wow if the S650 new 2023 Mustang architecture is built from the new Mach-E holly crap this thing is going to be wicked fast and glued to the road. Watch my video @31:00

Well, by that logic Dodge shouldn't have named the new Challenger "Challenger", since the new ones handle a whole lot better.

And to add to the confusion, the new Challenger actually looks like a Challenger.

I am #26 for a Z06 and #2 for a (yet to be announced) ZR1. Both MSRP. GM dealership I've known for a long time.

For me to actually buy though, the car will have to be 100% all ICE. No EV or Hybrid. Z06 is a beast (redline 8600) and definitely ICE but not sure if ZR1 will have that motor and not be electrified. I am amassing a modest but all ICE, high horsepower collection. Extra attention will be paid to ultra HP and manual.

That said, I am not anti EV. My wife wants this. 576HP daily driver.

Who am I to say no to my woman's needs?

Daughter loves the Gold Rush she just finished cleaning her up. She drives the Gold Rush to school everyday now that the weather is nice.
She left for school early this morning being she’s in the Academy’s of Loudoun which given her Grade point average got her in for her Senior year. She gets college credits and is studying Environmental Science. She went to the Gym after school and then drives out to her horse to take of him and rode.
