"Normal" DA around here is anywhere from 7500-9200

No sorry, I meant the elevation changes that much around town. Albuquerque is a river valley.

Our summertime DA is 7000 in the morning and then 8000+ in the afternoon too. Worse on the extreme days…. Wintertime DA 5-6k feet all the time, very close to true elevation. Tires too cold to hook them of course LOL
