Why didn't this forum take off before?

Unfortunately, a lot of sites can't afford to pay the Google fee to be listed at the top of the search results. We went through that with a privately owned forum I'm a member of (we even bought the server to insure speed). It was a TON of money each month to be listed at the top of the search results.

I do like the format of this forum.

Anyone know how many members (countwise) this site grew by in the last couple days? Would be interesting to know that number.

So just a quick history about this site, the original site started off as a Wordpress site back in 2015 when I was driving my old Charger. It had a very archaic forum so traffic wasn't that great because of the awful forum layout. I was mainly using it to share Hellcat related news as a hobby. It wasn't until last year that I tried to revamp the forum by installing the current Xenforo software. However by that time the site wasn't ranking too well because of more established websites. Even though traffic was low, I kept it open because I enjoy chatting with the occasional member that registered and help out whenever I can since my dad is a mechanic. Fast forward to the last few days, there's been a big jump in traffic due to the dispute with the other community and the influx of new members. So I'm really glad to see this community being utilize as a means of bringing people together for a common interest. And just to be clear, I'm not a big corporation, just a one-man shop.

Which I just realized now. Can you tweak the software so it shows the car we listed in our profile underneath our Pic on the left? That would be cool.

That is a great story @HellcatFan. Thanks for sticking it out. Like we said earlier today, we are sure some of our Vendors will come along. I saw one of my favorite today already. Plus like we said earlier if you need some help let us know.
