Private rental yesterday at HRP. Not optimal weather but a good day. Almost 80 degrees, 60% humidity, DA around 1500. Need some good -DA and 15 degrees cooler to get "the number" but there's always next time. Decided not to touch it before any passes. Straight from the street to the track. No weight removed, straight 93 pump. Factory exhaust, 2.85 pulley, tune, injectors. Stock DS, no brace so just loaded the drivetrain a bit and rolled in it from about 1200-1500 rpms. Was a bit nervous with the 2.62 rear. 1.52 60' / 10.16 et / 137.5 mph

Congrats, nice pass, good DA is coming hopefully soon. Is that your PB ?
Humidity can be brutal here in the Houston area.
I was at HRP Friday night b4 you & it was 95 & 97% humidity. It defiantly hurts ET & MPH.

Great run! I'm at 10.60 so far with just drag radials. Your run gives me hope that I could do the same without getting too carried away with mods.

What rear tires were you running (?) and what pressure?

What kind of boost are you seeing? 17-17.5?

Thanks! This was the first time out with the car. I'm only 3 miles from HRP. Been my home track since the beginning in '88. I've been waiting for a private track rental and good air with negative DA but the stars just didn't line up for that day. Missed it by a couple weeks with front that blew through earlier in the month. I'll try again when it finally gets here. Just hate Friday nights at HRP.

Yup you certainly can. I'm running the new 315 Nitto 555R II's. Started at 24psi but should have lowered to 20. I'll try that next time. They worked great but anything over 1500 rpms and too aggressive with the throttle they didn't hold. I don't think track prep was spot on so they might do better. I'm on a completely stock drivetrain so I didn't want to get crazy. Just quick roll into the throttle from 1200 - 1500 rpms. Lived to see another day. :)

you're running 18-19psi on 93 pump gas? Who's tuning? Adding an octane booster?

Correct no octane booster. Straight, Shell 93. Although the tuner did tell Cody, in the heat of the summer here in Texas, if I go out to make some runs he would suggest to add it for safety margins but not a requirement.

He's a tuner here in the Houston area. He's done tons of Dodge tuning. He was brought in by Cody at Whitehead Motorsports. I've not met him or talked with him. All I know is it works.

Decent pass with a modded Demon that ran some 9.40's that day. This was later in the day when the heat started to show. Made a couple back to back runs with temps around 80 degrees and DA around 1500. The mph dropped from 137.5 earlier in the day.

With some 17inch beadlock wheels and MTs R 315/50s you would 60ft 1.4s and run 9.80s or so in the heat. Your mph is killer and shows how much power you are making!
