Continental DWS06, here.

Ran them on my SRT Charger, the wifes RT Magnum & now my HC Charger. Absolutely no complaints.

It's a toss up between these & the Vredestein Sessanta's. The Vredestein's are sticky & quiet, but finding them, when you need them, is a huge pain. Most of the time, they are on national backorder.

Kitchen Alaska gets 21 feet of rain a year. Central Fl is sub tropical and receives a lot. Usually in the hurricane or tropical storm. All at once. The worst. Tampa gets more than Seattle but it rains there every day. Town home before this is at 8 feet above sea level and right on the water. Stress full.

Have always liked Michelins on most of my cars over the years...with that said it's totally dependent on what you're using the car for.

I've been super happy with the Bridgestone RE-11 Potenza's on my Z06 compared to the last set of Michelins I ran.

Couldn't be happier with the Toyo 888R's on the rear of the Redeye...considering what I'm using the car for. :)

If I could, I would vote for two, Michelin and Continental.

Had Chassis Procurement and Quality responsibilities 1995 to 2000 at FCA (aka Chrysler). Michelin had 20% of the tire business with Goodyear (the original tire supplier to Chrysler) the balance of business. Saw many global tire suppliers with the Michelin process the most secret/protected. Most tire suppliers "shave" the tires after the molding process to comply with OEM specifications. Not Michelin..... Dated perspective!!! More expensive but better ride, wear and performance. Had Yokohama's on several Dodge Stealth RT's and as replacement tires on a PT GT Turbo that dramatically improved handling characteristics.

Only thing I know is Michelin has been a pretty consistent upper tier tire for many years (or decades really) . Expensive - yes. But I really think the brand of tire that's popular really depends on what its being used for. Someone in the "know" would take tire compound characteristics in mind along with speed rating etc. depending on what the car is used for....

There's no real reason to fill any car tire with nitrogen, so don't worry about it.
The one thing that can be claimed is that nitrogen escapes the tire liner less/slower as the molecules are larger, but since air is 70% nitrogen anyway, you end up with nitrogen filled tires eventually, whether you want it or not.
