How are you guys getting by on ID1050X injectors, 2.75 upper, and E85?

Properly sized fuel system helps. At 880 rwhp the injectors are working pretty hard, but the IDs don't seem to mind too much

This is forum member NJ_ Redeye (Sean) doing a 10.47

This is Chris doing 10.22 100% stock with just a drag radial in a narrow body redeye with 3/4 tank of gas and no skinnies

This is Joe doing a 10.15 in a widebody 100% stock with only a drag radial and 120 lbs weight reduction from removal of passenger and rear seats.
Joe has gone 10.10 since and I also got Joe doing a 10.14 but he ran against a NT car so his time did not pop up...That video is below.

This is Jim's B5 blue redeye going 9.94..He is on a 100% stock tune but has cut 320 lbs out of the car..This car has gone 9.87 since this video.

This is Corey aka Driveway Demons from youtube followed by Joe doing a 10.14 then Chris doing a 10.37 then some guy doing 10.00 with just a mild tune...Corey raced a NT car so his time did not pop up just like Joe when he did 10.14...Corey did run 9.58 that day on his 2nd pass.

This is Dave in his 100% stock Demon going 9.84...He is just using the Dodge 840 race gas tune and deleted seats option.

Finally this is me racing in my old 1968 Camaro that I built...This is my quickest and fastest 1/4 mile pass ever from a few years back and now my goal is to beat that with my new redeye...I want to crack into the 9's with my redeye then I am good...I think with skinnies and ET street R 315/50/R17's I can get low 10.1's 100% stock with full weight....Rear seat and passenger seat removal and 1/4 tank of gas with my 160 lb butt in the car with dry 48 degree 0 DA air 9.98....I am a racer not just a talker or dreamer.

Yeah Speedy, DA is some awesome stuff. It helped more than I had hoped it would.
Btw, I tried some higher octane fuels and such but it ran consistently quicker on the 93 pump.

I've found DA like that to easily be worth 2-3 tenths and 2-3 MPH, or a solid 25-30+ rwhp. Gotta love good air

Next time we see -1000' with our Redeye, it WILL go 8s!

Congrats on the new PB. Your time has been added. Holy crap that 60 is amazing. We all need to decide how the records work. If everyone agrees you have the fastest stock redeye on Drs and skinnies.

Interesting. SRT has gotten a lot more conservative on later model Hellcats in terms of timing, so perhaps the RE is the same and won't take advantage of higher octane fuels.

Congrats on the new PB. Your time has been added. Holy crap that 60 is amazing. We all need to decide how the records work. If everyone agrees you have the fastest stock redeye on Drs and skinnies.

Agreed Mark. Fwiw - the approx weight removed is 150 lb. I weigh 230 so there is that. "Record" or not I'm still a happy camper.

Btw, I made 27 runs in 2 days. Good to great DA both days. 20 of those were 1.43 or better on 60'. I found that one number of 60 was three numbers at the quarter.

Also, I was at Houston Raceway Park, not Clay City.

That certainly appears to be the case. I literally drove down the street from the track and bought $3/gal 93 octane and consistently ran my best et's and mph.

Yeah I was looking at my factory tune on my redeye and there is only about 9.5 to 10 degrees of timing on the wot top end.

I should have gone down there. But the thought of getting the car covered in salt crap on the way down doesn't do it for me.

Wish it was luck. Takes a lot of planning to pull these race weekends off at these distances. Pulling a trailer solo through the mountains over 700 miles each way is a chore. Couldn't do it on a regular 2 day weekend. The wheelies make it worth the effort. Lol
Will start scouting tracks for the February ( Presidents Day weekend) junket in a few days.
