No. Not yet. Should detail it up tomorrow and post it at the stores starting monday. One week at each location outside with fliers and window info. Other cars I've sold that way have gone in about 2 weeks. This one, though, because of the mods and such, I think may take a few months. But that's okay with me. Not in a great big hurry particularly.

I go to dealership websites, "just looking" at trade in values for a red eye, and KBB states my trade in value is 57 to 61.
Dealers reach out and say that the most they can do is 50.
I have told 2 to f*ck off in one week.

The only possibility of me unloading this car, and even that isn't likely, is for trade on the eventual RE. But the current plan is to keep this one and add to the stable. (I'll need a stacker parking lift in the garage to fit it.)

Ok....that really made me laugh

I ran into that with my 1320, but then I had one contact me and they were really close. I said no and told them where I needed to be. 3 days later they called back and gave me what I wanted, so down the road it went. I'll get something else later, but for now just putting the money away for retirement.

Check NADA guides. The KBB site didn't have a value for my 1320 (they didn't have a listing for the package) and I was getting stuck in the regular Scat Pack listing price. The one dealer that called me actually knew a little about them and after I explained it to him, he said he needed a day or two to do some research. I sent him a bunch of info, pics, the as built for the car, etc. When he came back to me, he offered me what I told him I wanted. The first guys were clowns and trying to hit me $7k under what I owed. There was no way I was doing that.

How about running yours though one of those auto auctions? You can set the reserve.

At this point Give Me the VIN keeps calling me, and has gone up from 73 to 75K, but I think it's a bit too little still. Especially since I'm not convinced that it's a good idea to sell it.

Maybe I should just weld the rear doors shut and see if I like it even more afterwards?
