Have you driven your skinnies on the street much?
I have a 100 mile drive to the track and was wanting to drive on my skinnies and beadlocks.
Both forgestar with the MT Streets
Awesome. I was checking the weather down there and was hoping it would be good.
Glad you got to run in good air. It looks like the humidity wasn't bad for a change.
Up here for good air like that it is cold usually. My last time out it was in the 30's.
So traction on worn tires was interesting at first.😮
Congrats again👍😎
That's what made things so good at HRP, the air was good and the temp was low 50's and sunny. The car made good power and the track took pretty much everything I threw at it.
I won't be seeing conditions like that in TN that's for sure!
Thx Jack. I've been surprised at how much burnout my car requires. If I don't just flat cook the tires it won't 60 good at all.
My thought is that the tire has to do a LOT of the work since the suspension is so stiff on the RE.
I was surprised at the low overall mph my car had. I was expecting 133. I don't have an answer for that just yet. If I can get it to mph it'll really run. Lol
Yes, line lock. It took me a while to get the specifics of the line lock figured out. Once you get it it's pretty easy to use.
I personally can't do a really good, long burnout without it.

I haven't had the skinnies all that long but I have driven it a decent bit with them. I ended up with 50 psi in them to keep them from looking and feeling low.
I intend for them to be my regular street tires from now on.
We had a good outing at the track this past weekend. The car is stock w a wheel change and the easy 150 lbs removed(trunk liner, seats, sway bar). It weighs 4465 on the starting line. Turns out a good starting line and good DA will really wake one of these things up! Lol

Ya that’s a little strange because if you look at my PB you had me crushed and should have out mph me. Also you have skinnies and I don’t which should have helped your mph I would think. I will tell you what if your car is pulling power at the top and your running times like this you have a 9.99 in your car if you can get it figured out. Maybe a gust of wind at the end of the track slowed you down? What was your tire pressure at?
I don’t understand why everyone looks at mph , when the et is what matters I only care about 🤔I’ve seen them stock demons race and they have quicker 60s and quicker 8ths and are always slower on the big end
Just curious, did you run your Redeye at the Legion of Demons rental? Friday would've been test and tune, most of Saturday would've been rained out, leaving Sunday for Legion of Demons only.

My Scat worked a little better when I put everything in track except the suspension.
Allowed the weight transfer to the rear.
That was my custom setup.

I know what your saying but I have always thought that mph kinda shows the full potential of the cars ET? For instance we all knew how fast hpindy's car was because of his mph. Once he figured out his 60 the mph went up a little bit but the ET went down a lot. High mph that doesn't match ET shows your leaving some time on your 60. Does that make sense ? I don't think this is the OP's problem though because he has the best stock 60 from a bone stock cat with drag pack.
