Nice runs Ron. I wish I could run in DA like that. I also noticed on my stock Hellcat I'd run faster with back to back 3 runs. I made 17 passes at VMP on a TNT day and tested it bone stock and with a tune. What I found is that bone stock it would pick up about a 10th by the 3rd pass where with the tune it just started out at the best time and wobbled back and forth by 1/100th. I suspect the car does some "learning" in the stock tune that is tuned out on a custom tune. That's my theory anyway.

So with just a 10% lower the other Demon ran a 9.16 @151?? That's fast.

We think the speed was artifically high. Based on Friends cars that were running at the same time. It should be 146 to 148. We think it was the splitter triggering one speed trap beam and not the other (was the front tire).

We ran both fuels but it was no faster on E-90. Z said it would be safer though.

We think it is the intercooler loop being colder due to driving the car down the return road VS just starting it up in the staging lanes and moving into the bleach box. You can easily see this on the After Run cooldown screen. If you start out with a cold blower the car will pick up for 3 runs and the 4th run it will drop off a couple hundredths and then stabilize on any further runs.

That's a good theory. In my custom tune I have the intercooler pump RPM sped up in the lower aircharge areas vs the stock tune to help with cooling. That would line up with what I saw vs stock tune.

All in, including sales tax installation and the 2.5% CC fee was just under $7400 (not including the slab/foundation). I went with the cheapest that I could do in that size. There were times I thought this whole deal was a scam. But they always did what they promised and the install crew was great. I ordered it Sept 16th and they told me 20 weeks. BAM!

Yes. One reason I chose them is because I could build AND get a price on their web site. "3D Building Configurator". Looks like they only build and install in 4 states. Arizona Nevada Idaho Utah. I would call and ask about any other nearby states. They also may sell without the install if you pick the materials up. Not sure.
