I ordered a Rear Seat Delete Kit today...finally, it’s here!!!😁

What do you think of the kit and the quality? Were all the pieces you needed there, all under that one part number ending in 5917AC that @jgilj shared? I'm thinking I should try to get one of these while I have the chance.

Fwiw I really like mine . I've had it in for like 2 summers now . It really makes the inside of the car

I like it, for the factory look, very clean & nice fit, weight reduction was the main objective since the back seat is not really used anyway, makes it easier to see out the back glass since the back seat head rests are not in the way now. All pieces are in the kit for a complete rear seat delete, including seat belts which I also removed.
That part # is the same I have.

Thanks for the info guys and i think you are right about OEM parts being worth the potential wait. I went ahead and placed the order for the kit today with my local dealer. Parts guy said the computer told him something about it not being readily available...we'll see what happens.

All done! Watched speedy’s video, hood info from speedy as always! Thanks Jay, took about 1.5 hours but I’m old fat and anal the pictures aren’t the best but you’ll get the idea. Also talked to my sales rep and he said no 2021 SS info on ordering 😩

That's so true. It really sucks. Country boys can get on the highways and by-ways and fly down the road at 70-80mph and go 100miles before we can get across the George Washington bridge. How'd you like to drive 30mi to the GW then sit in traffic another 1-2hrs (or more when really bad) before even starting the next leg of wherever you gotta go to get there. The shame is they have the room out east on Long Island to do it. But there's no real money in it for the developers or County, like housing so that's that.

Just picked up package at the dealer today!!! I called last week and was told this week. I called yesterday and was told they would get back to me. I called them today, not expecting to hear from them. So yea, I’m good to go, got my parts. Only thing bothering me is now that I have the tracking number from the carton, I run it on the ups website which tells me that it was shipped 9/29 and delivered to the dealer on 10/2, almost 2 weeks ago. Do I bitch up to management or let it slide? Ordinarily I’m not a ball breaking kind of guy and would probably just let it slide. Who knows, maybe this is the third one delivered, and these pricks were selling them to their friends and reordering? It is plausible. The guy who I spoke with last week must have known it was there. Thoughts?

Yeah, I get what you feel but sometimes it's more aggerating to stir the shit up & not get the answer your gonna like anyway. It doesn't matter now, you got your part.
