Actually… yes 🙄. Note… the date on that picture is 2019. The engine I’ve had for going on 4 years now is a BBP 426 that was built by Alex Jones. It was built specifically for a 4.5 Whipple on e85 and made over 1200whp thru a TH400 way back then. A lot of things have changed since then and stuff is available now that wasn’t. Apparently there were issues with some of the plugs being used at that time and he said he was “sorry” but he had to recommend those things rather than suffer possible issues with a lesser plug. Iridium plugs are common now and obviously not anywhere near that expensive. I haven’t really kept track of what the plugs of choice at the high level are now. I haven’t had to because those things are working just fine. 😂. I’m building a new motor in house now to replace the good old BBP and will need to decide what to use. Probably use those and replace them in the old motor with something reasonably priced. I just checked and those are on sale thru Summit now for only $39.99 each. 🥳
I see you @jonx96 with the SDG snout I was going to get one back in October my logs say I’m only at 60% idc on my passes need to move some more air. Imo best thing on the market no need for a 3.0 when you have that

I’m yet to drive the car with the plate and snout. I’m waiting the results. Do you have the bearing plate already? I wouldn’t do the snout without the plate.

I don’t according to @Hpindy and the guys at SDG the plate only adds like 20hp… the air foil you can put in stock one adds 8. Bang for the buck, I’m poor lol
