Of course it’s louder than stock intake. I’m saying she was following me yesterday and she told me she could hear the lmi intake over the exhaust

Yeah that’s what brought it up. She was saying my exhaust wasn’t very loud and the flowmasters I had on my rt were louder.. that the lmi was even louder.

Well, if any of you guys that are changing over to LMI or other aftermarket intakes want to get rid of the stock setup, let me know. I have an 18 and want to adapt the 19 setup over so when I get a Demon style hood everything should match.

Sounds great, really happy with it. Air intake temps seems relatively the same as the stock but now the whine is twice as loud... you can hear the woosh sound after you let off from giving it a little gas from the intake now... Which I enjoy.. something the Bwoody intake does great on the charger as well

So this must be a noise thing or looks? I actually prefer the stock setup. I'm hoping to test some after market intakes at the track, real world on my Hellcat. The Redeye intake is so big I just don't see any hp to be picked up. I have seen dyno numbers not make a difference at the track

Not exactly sure what your question is? Yes it comes with a carbon fiber tube. It’s the same for the regular challenger hellcat

Yeah it’s basically a sound thing.. and I like its looks under the hood better than the stock filter in a plastic housing

Honestly I can’t tell a difference yet.. but people do snap there necks wondering what the heck the sound is 😂. I love it. It’s very noticeable the difference in soundtrack the whine has now under light throttle.

It sounds really, really loud, Matt. That would be the talk of the track for sure, using a bunch of WOT would make for some great videos, if you are into that. Take it to a track Matt and have someone do some videos of it.

Oh, thanks Matt. We went through that in May. They fixed me right up quick. The new one spins up just as good. They installed the new one in just under two hours (already had the bad one off). We found some Easter Egg writing under it, so now we at least know what to call her and when the heart was made!
