RE have 3.09's? I too went from a '16 HC to a RE. the 3.09's make most of the diff imo. Big difference.

I’d love to upgrade my 717 hp WB HC gear to 3.09 but I heard some cars don’t respond as well if you had it done when the car was built.
But I am gonna pulley it and dyno tune. So the 2.62 gear is good enough. I think

There’s no recall on the newer ones.

3.09s are a tenth. I never noticed a difference driving the car. My 2.62 are back in now

3.09 is useless in high HP applications, first gear is so short that most launch in second gear.

Makes a very responsive machine on tracks also. It is a blast on the street. I have owned both and like the 3.09 in the RE.
