Marc I will be watching my oil pressure closer this year. But the low 1.2s I ran I didn’t see a drop yet. I also am not bringing my front end up very much tho.
If that’s for me…. Don’t know. We were told we’d have them in a week, going on two weeks ago. After Vegas, everybody had other neglected non-car related stuff needing to get done and we haven’t gotten back to the shop since then. I’ll find out on Monday.

Hopefully we got them. They deliver next door when nobody’s there so…. could be. Had to go to Lake Havasu in Arizona to remodel a kitchen. Can’t sell a house with a fucked up kitchen. Back to cars next week.
On the topic of not doing anything car related (fun), mine has been sitting in the trailer just as it left the track in Vegas. I was able to get it home today and decided to drive to the once a month car show. Big turnout! The children cried in fear, the men were humbled, and the women were… 😏

Love the backwards Starsky and Hutch retro look its dope! Dam that drag pack sits up really high huh? Im guessing many here have no clue who Starsky and Hutch were but whatever......lol
I had to renew my NHRA Competition License (again 🙄). I’ve had the S/G designated category on there since 1990 when they wouldn’t allow my Pro Stock Motorcycle license to be used to drive a nine second car 😆. I like this better 👊
Shops daily driver ScatPak. Full weight SpankinTime built 392 with a 3.0 Whipple driven with the 6-rib serpentine belt. 9.31 at 150 mph. 😳

It’s still a 392 but built by Adam at Spankintime. E85, Forged Internals with Redeye heads and cam. 3.0 Whipple driven with the 6 rib serpentine belt. Hp90 trans, 3.09 gears, AAD, G-force axles with 15” conversion. Plans are to go to 8 rib pulleys to be able to increase boost. Belt slip is limiting now.
This car is a true daily driver and ran repeated low 9.3’s at 150. I’d have to ask again to confirm, but I don’t think it’s making more than 15 lbs on that 6-rib belt. Adam doesn’t dyno for talking numbers. For one thing, the shop is over 3000 ft elevation so there’s that, but….. it made well over 1000whp. Look at that skinny belt on the Whipple 10 rib pulley.

It’s a newer blower that was ordered with the manual bypass option. Being a Scatpak, the pcm is for a NA motor. There is no electronic bypass tuning capability with that pcm so the manual one is the only way to go.
I thought I would run this by you with a question for the painter types. Cleaning the rubber off the rear is a never ending job with this thing. Being white.. it looks like shit all the time. The rubber from the Radial Pro is a unbelievable mess using goo remover. What do you think about this as a painted permanent solution vs the job of taping it like this before every time out? Leaving tape like this on for more than a weekend is not a option as it drys out and is worse than the rubber to get off. Plus…. I don’t think this tape will stay on at speed. 170 mph will peel it off. Second question is.. What is best to remove wax to prep this for paint if I decide to do that?
