Thx Mike. I got a few miles on the street setup yesterday. As we all would expect the ETStreetR's hook the car pretty good on the street. I can hit it hard from 60 and it goes rather than spins.

The cradle lockouts and AAD arms transfer a good bit of rear end noise into the car but that's to be expected since all the vibration reducing bushings are either replaced or tightened up a lot.

My local e85 tests to be 75% ethanol. I suppose I'll need another revision from Jon with less timing since that's what I intend to use for the street. The less expensive fuel is a plus but the crappy fuel mileage is a corresponding minus.

I'm hoping to have a true 9 second pump e85 car when the dust settles. I'd think that won't be an issue.
I think you met your goals. The increased interior noise is probably the same as mine with the rear seat delete. It's LOUD! Suppose it's partly road noise and exhaust noise.

So.. I have the opportunity to purchase a new '23 SS at msrp. Do any of you have an opinion regarding the big picture value of the SS considering it's total production for the year is slated to be 142 total? I'm sure some have thoughts about this as it relates to the Demon 2.0 introduction.
Any serious input is appreciated. Thanks.

If you were going to leave it in plastic, you'll be in a great place now that the Demon is unobtainable to most.

That is what I'm thinking. I have the 21 to play with so the 23 would be 99.9% garage queen.

If I could get one ordered in Plum Crazy Purple, I would pull the trigger.

The wheels fell off of the deal I had working. Something about an allocation not being picked up after the order had been placed. I had Destroyer Gray w a red interior in mind. Doesn't really matter now though..

And the 21 could maybe turn into a 8 second car 🤔

Just came into the house after removing the front sway bar and installing the diff. brace.
It had the lighter sway bar at 15 lbs.

Put the car up on the scales again after some easy weight reduction. Front sway bar and hardware, drag pack f/r tires/wheels, removed everything from the trunk, and 1/2 tank of fuel. Sorry for the blurry pic. Since this pic was taken, I've swapped the battery to a Darrel Cox lw lithium. Weight should be 4199 lbs. now.

Looks about right.
Are you going to run the car anytime soon?
I'd like to run mine but the state is working on the interstate between us and our local track. We can get there just fine but the work is being done after 8pm so it's TERRIBLE trying to get home at 10pm.
We're going to a different track Friday to test some Junior stuff. I have my fingers crossed that it'll be a good enough surface to take my car to. I'm curious to see how it et's w the street setup and the pump e85 tune in it.

I plan to go T&T on Friday. Weather will not be ideal, but at least I can make the car's first laps. Probably 75* and drop from there. I'll change the factory oil/filter tomorrow and I'm ready.

Interesting observations today while test fitting my Weld front skinnies... The stock 18x11 wheel with OEM NT05R tire weighs 60 lbs! I was guessing approx 55 lbs based on Demon wheels weighing ~22 lbs and Nitto NT05R weighing 33 per their specs. (btw yes I know my wheels are dirty)

Also, I could not find a part number on the Super Stock wheel anywhere... On the Demon wheel, the part number is stamped right near the hub surface.

And finally, the 2021 Super Stock gets the same Demon calipers, while the 2020 Super Stock has a basic Scat Pack caliper as I understand. Also, 2021 has non-slotted rotors, but 2020's were slotted.

I would be curious if anyone knows a paint code that would match up to the granite gray wheels. I have some Demon wheels on the way and I want them powdercoated or painted to match. The Demon wheels will be for a "factory appearing" drag pack, while the Welds will be for all out personal best goals. Back from the dead - what lift is that, how high does it go, and how high are your ceilings?

The Demon and 2021 SS front calipers are almost identical, both are Monoblock construction and appear to be dimensionally identical, however the only difference I see is the SS calipers have a bolt that goes across the top of the spring and the Demon does not. As I recall the rear calipers are identical for both Demon & 2021 Super Stock.

Try paint code PA7-W for the SS Granite wheel color which is generically called "Anthracite Grey". I only found this in my travels through the web, thus I can't confirm its accuracy.

It's a Mohawk A-7 (all made in USA), columns are 8'3" tall instead of the usual 9' on most others. It's also all hydraulic so there are no cables to break/snap. The lift arms raise to 6'. My ceilings on the lift side are tall though, 2 stories. 20211014_154233~2.jpg

Back from my maiden runs in the Super Stock. Let's just say it was less than stellar.
Track had zero prep, so the 305/45R17 ET Street R's are not going to cut it.
A 6.87@102 with a 1.56 60 ft. is the best I could muster. I even tried a 2nd gear launch just see what it would do.
6.97@102 with a 1.64 60. ft. Yes, it has the dreaded short shift on the 1-2 gear change.
Upward from here.

Like they say: You have to start somewhere.
Sounds like some track prep, same track or otherwise, is in order.
And that short shift deal SUCKS.
Fwiw - I've had no luck at my local tracks using the 305/45-17. Even on average prep I can't hook with them. They work great at stock power levels on a really good surface otherwise not so good. The 315/50 or maybe even the 315/55 would help even though they're a good bit heavier.
Regardless of any of that it's good to see that you got to the track!

Thanks Bo.
It hits hard enough on the 1-2 gear change to wheel hop.
7 runs and I had to abort 4.
When I got up this morning, I ordered a pair of bead lock Win Lites and the 315/50R17's.
