One of the craziest things about space that always boggles my mind is when you look up at the stars.. it could be possible most of them don’t even exist anymore. Looking at space is almost like looking at your memory banks going back to when you were a kid. You don’t even know if your looking at a picture of what’s there or something that’s actually there

Seriously though this is not a joke. This is not mambo jumbo many quantum physicists are starting to back this theory. We would need a whole new thread but the chances we are in a simulation right now is not as crazy as you may think.

You guys are in deep thought here....any thoughts on reincarnation? Who would know if its real or not? May have been a tapeworm your last life. (not meaning you in particular MarkP of course...lol)....

I have no idea and I would never really know but we are getting into philosophy now. Technically you are reincarnated because you and I are both made from a star. We have all the elements in our bodies. When we die those elements go on to create life one way or another on earth. So you and I in a sense will live on forever.

It’s not as much reincarnation as it is just pressing the reset button instantly the second your dead only to repeat yourself and your own actions in exactly the same way you did as you are right now. The higher power is the simulation... .. the creator has probably been dead for a ridiculously unfathomable amount of time. But was alive long enough to create the simulation... it’s like an artist you like that is dead but you get to play their best song on their best record over and over.

As for the strides mankind has made in the last 200 years were any of those strides made by stupid people? Think how much faster strides would have been made if the average person had a IQ of 160?

What about China or India. Even if there birth rates slow down does it matter? There are billions of them. The birth rate will slow down but the population will continue to rise just a little slower.

I don't have an answer for this. Didn't even really want to wade into this conversation.
I do believe a WW3 will happen. I also believe it will be over resources and the losers (and likely many of the winners) will be wiped out. I hope an pray its 100 years from now but who knows.

Could be a creator or creators but in either case you would think there must have been purpose in it. Also, the creator or creators would not be bound by the simulations time scale. Might be set to run for a few trillion years of our time but in theirs might take very little time to complete. They or it may have just hit run and stepped out for a sandwich and will check back shortly when it will no doubt be complete. Likely could run it again with a few tweaked parameters before the day is out.
