Get rid of it and go with IC chiller
Update is we're held up by the FI Interchiller install. New AC lines were required because this is a redeye and not a regular hellcat and we also ended up discussing a reservoir which needs to be sourced or fabricated, to get the most out of the system along with a pump. It sounds like fabricating may be the way we go and would keep the delay and cost to a minimum but we'll chat about that today. The lines will be here Friday and the pump will come quickly from FI since these guys are a dealer.

If the delay would be too long, I'll just have them throw the damn engine in it and get me on my way and I can come back in the spring for the interchiller install. Engine is ready to go and has been. They just want to use the space in the engine bay to make the install easier if possible.

I disagree with the IC chiller. That’s a knock off of the killer chiller. Not as nice my FI is way nicer built than the IC chiller.

Their new cores have AN fittings. I like their TXV block way better than FIs and you don’t have to cut anything, I went back and forth for a while

They did the AN fitting after Seeing mine. NO JOKE
Cores they bought from killer chiller/amazon. They use a TXV valve from a Dodge Omni. Everyone has their opinion but they are not as good as FI. I did not have to cut a thing on my FI and I’m very happy with it over the one I replaced.

IC also has a plug and play kit for redeyes, no new lines needed. But all kits do what they’re supposed to

This is the problem people worry to much. Jon can have my back on this one. I ALWAYS say just send it with my stuff. I have never said nope not doing that.

Finally got the hater maker special stuffed into the engine bay. We’re close, folks. Thanks to anyone who has stuck around. This has been a serious test of my mental health. :ROFLMAO:

You drop the subframe to do it?
Not sure. This is being done by a shop about 45 minutes away from me. I know the transmission came out, if that makes any difference.

Hoped to pick up this week but feel like that may be a long shot.

These things rarely happen on schedule.
