Ron, I don't have a status code at the moment. Who knows what's going on.
I'm sure I'm not the only one this happens to. It's just really frustrating.
If the status code is "I" then it is likely getting something fixed. My first Demon was in I status for 33 days. When I got it you could see the RF Fender was removed. All the attaching bolts the paint was marred by wrenches. The stamping dies usually put a small dent in that fender and on the Demons that would not pass inspection. They were held to a higher standard.

If you are KZLD then get ready. The car will show up soon. One way to know for sure is to see if the window sticker generates. Plug your VIN in here and see if it pops.

https://www.hellcatforum.org/pages/sticker/

If you can see your window sticker then the car is past inspection 100%. Only other possibility is, it got damaged during shipment. But that is not what you are being told.

Also I do not think the factory has a dealership fix paint issues. I think it is done at the factory. Besides the upfitter is not right next to the factory. So why would they go back to a local factory dealership. Final inspection is likely done at the upfitter or at the vehicle distrubution center (VDC) where the car is staged for pickup by the shipper.

Yeah, I've been checking with the VIN every day. The build sheet popped up Nov 1st.

OK, I don't think it is necessarily that late. You have got to get the latest status code. That will tell you for sure. If it failed inspection then I do not see it progressing to the body vendor. If it is in JB then it is at the body vendor or upfitter. Typically it is one week at the body vendor. So maybe it failed inspection and they fixed it and THEN sent it to the body vendor. I would say your window sticker might pop any day now. If it does you are golden. To Washington it will be 2 weeks after the window sticker plus or minus 1 week. Provided there is nothing out of the ordinary happening. With so few Super Stocks being built I suspect they will need cars other than Stillantis to make a load and head out with your car. So maybe expect a little on the longer side. To So Cal mine was exactly 2 weeks but that was before covid.

Yes.
Dodge had special batch made with the Demon logo on them for Demons.
Otherwise, same tire.
Yep and real Demon Nittos are going fit around $1800 each on eBay:oops:
My 22 Frostbite SS arrived mid August and I just put it to bed for its long winters rest!

Congrats Mike! It's been a long wait for you.
I finally broke down and started upgrading my SS just yesterday.

Thanks Bo. I'll get a few pics up soon. This is some bright white!
And just what are you upgrading?

You'll have to wear sunglasses on the starting line if the hood is white too!

After spending most of the last year REALLY disappointed in my 1-2 and 2-3 shift issue and debating whether to just keep it as a pizza delivery car, sell it or.. modify it some and just go have some fun with it I decided on the latter.

Today I finished up installing the AAD control arms as well as the BMR cradle lockouts.
I'm going to go with a stock pulley E85 tune and we'll deal with the shift points then.
I'm also going to go with a 15" brake conversion and install Weld 15x11 beadlocks and MT 315/60-15's.
I'm hoping it runs pretty good at that point.

Sounds like a solid plan Bo.
Keep us in the loop with the outcome, good or bad.

My plan is to run the car with just the drag pak for a baseline.
See how quick I can get it to run.

First up though is to weigh the car with a 1/2 of gas on my 4 corner scales and keep track of the reduction in weight as
the low cost mods begin.

From there I am toying with the idea of the same suspension mods you are doing plus a tune on the ECM/TCM with no engine mods.

Long term I may have to try a flex tune and see what it will run.

My biggest concern is getting the alignment corrected with the AAD kit.

One pic of the new beastie. Ready to hop in and drive it home in the rain.
I folded that yellow splitter guard up and stuck it into the trunk.

With our seasonal rain and low temps, I've managed to put about 20 miles on it so far.
Quick observations.
The differential is dead quiet, no noise at all.
This one doesn't dart around in the lanes like the first one did. Maybe the alignment?
Happy so far.

Sounds good Mike.
I've never had a 3.09 that wasn't somewhat noisy, and I'm pretty sure all 3 got louder after being "seated" by some good, hard dragstrip runs. Maybe yours will stay quiet.
My SS has never been darty, even with the 20" wheels on it. Both of the REWB's were though. No clue why.
I've spent the last few hours fitting a Kirkey seat in mine. I already had the seat and some brackets. I don't really care for the brackets but they're here so I thought I'd give them a go before ordering more. I don't think I'll like them once installed but I didn't have anything else pressing to do this afternoon.
Also, my 15" Welds and MT's were shipped Friday. Hope to see them by mid week.

That's next weeks project. I'm getting the wheels and tires used so I thought it best to wait until they had actually shipped before ordering the brakes. I intend to use the TCE/Wilwood setup. To my knowledge they're the only ones currently available that fit the Weld 15" wheel. I'll start calling around tomorrow to see if anyone actually has them in stock and can ship them.

Hopefully everything goes as planned with no surprises.
No grinding or cutting would be a plus.
A true bolt on project seems to be unheard of these days.

The sway bar mount on the spindle is still an issue but there's a heim joint style sway bar rod that bolts to the outer toe rod mount. This allows you to simply cut off the existing tab. Only real negative is that there isn't an easy way to go back to stock.
