I'm jealous. I hope to have a setup like that one of these days.

Reminded me of this which always makes me laugh, you're welcome :ROFLMAO:

Haha. Good old Harbor Freight. Sometimes if the savings are big enough you get pulled to the dark side. I’m about ready to buy a set of these things. Trying to move a car with a locked rear end is something else. 70574F13-05E7-4B06-8560-01EFCF1F6C9B.jpeg

Hey Z great to see you back up! The “plug n play” harness was a part of the package I had with this and I need to find out if it is intact or modified. This was installed when the car was at SRT Autoworks and we were trying to get it to work with a Autometer tack that needed a tack “adapter” and be harnessed to all 8 coil packs (according to Autometer). It never did work right and I need to find out if this harness was buggered up in any way before I offer to sell it. I’ll connect with interested parties when I know what to story is.

So…. Because after I do something, I always have to change it, I now have two CO2 bottles located behind the seats, out of sight (sorta). Along with the fire suppression bottle…. it’s starting to look like a scuba diving shop back there. One 2.5 lb bottle is used to launch the chute at 150 psi and the other operates the shifter and chute cable lever at 90 psi. I also took care of one of my most hated nemesis’s. The electric deck lid latch. That is gone and a couple of quarter turn Dzus fasteners do the job even if the battery might decide to die. 42E5A209-D596-433C-A2F5-1B728E086127.jpeg 4A2E6EFA-3BB8-4F80-8146-761FA6111300.jpeg AED2946F-255F-462F-9E29-31220A3175DD.jpeg 8678CAD0-C235-4C6F-A672-ED6BF554AD3C.jpeg C7214234-E6AD-4A92-AE88-C1C59B672BE9.jpeg 5372D4A5-06E0-4DB5-9CF6-137F4A43DC1C.jpeg

The new motor is about ready to come together!! New 2016 Hellcat block half filled (can’t get anything on when or even if the Dart block is going to be available). Callies Billet Crank. Custom Manley Pro Series Rods (rated to 2000+hp). CP-Carrillo 10.75 Pistons. Thitek Bear Custom Race Cylinder Heads. T&D Rocker/Valve Train Assembly. Comp Custom Non VVT Cam. Bosch Custom 2200 Injectors. Holley Smart Coil Ignition. And………. A new Whipple Supercharger that will be a jaw dropper 😵‍💫. How big you ask. I want 413 but I’m being told it’s going to be 402. I may have to lie. Question…. Can we make 2000hp? Hold our Blue Moons. 😝

Resting today after a all-nighter at the “Midnight Mayhem” at the Strip in Las Vegas 🥵 It was 100 degrees at midnight so the DA was 5000’. I got home at 4:30am Because there are 2 or 3 of us who like this drag stuff, I’ll show you one of the other Team SpankinTime cars being built in the shop next to mine. It’s a Magnum (Dragnum) with a 430 ci Hemi and one of the DragPak 3.0 Whipples. It just made 1100whp on Pump E85 thru a T400. The rear end is a 8.8 IRS out of a Explorer. This car is built to run the Drag week/Power Tour type events where a car drives over 1000 miles from one track to another to compete. They have to be street legal (at least by their requirements). Adam wired the Holley EFI (Dominator) and has it tuned so nice it could be a daily driver. Last night was the first shake down to get some data on the track under power. Traction was non-existent with all the street cars and no prep being done but did manage a on and off the throttle 10 second pass. Here’s some pics….. I know. Can you imagine! No air or anything but that Kirkey seat. Hell.. I don’t even like being at the track if it’s over 80 degrees. I’m too old for that challenge.

New trans cooler is in place and the alternator has been been modified into a single wire setup to work with the Dominator ECU. Ball’s rolling! Got some work done. Replumbed everything. New 10 gallon ice box got 1” lines to the intercooler and the new Holley valve covers were plumbed to the vented Moroso catch can. 4E1BE395-3D11-4037-8F05-950B060DA1DC.jpeg 23227AD0-91AE-4035-B3D8-0776EB58A333.jpeg 57E936DB-3EF6-45FD-95A6-66C8EF96494B.jpeg 0D31898D-3BE1-46A4-96DF-4F4E6C8C46BC.jpeg 07ECF338-F91E-4652-A5CE-F4102B3DCE87.jpeg 954E0CB1-BA9C-43C0-B874-31C5AA792F49.jpeg

I’m having a hard time seeing the picture. Did you run the ice tank lines through the interior or did you drill a whole and go under the car?

Opened a spot just forward of the rear end and went down the trans tunnel underneath. Under the car we used hard line (PEX) with a 1” ID.

Those of us who try to modify Hellcats know that there are magical little brains and things in there that object to our pursuits. Case in point…. With all of the stock electronics removed, a simple 12 volt source should operate simple 12 volt things like fans and windows. Right? Wrong☹️ So today was the get the windows to go up and down day. That involves accessing the window motor and taking it apart. Inside are copper coils and a little circuit board. So what now? The shop owner/electrical genius (Adam) shows me this itty bitty little thing attached to the circuit board and he tells me it needs to be destroyed. Apparently it is the evil little brain that won’t allow the window to work without getting permission from the boss. So using a needle nose, he squashed that little shitbird. No need to remove the body 😐. Then he cut two of the four wires going in and said…. Done. Back in and connected to a 12 volt source…. I’ll be damned if that window didn’t go up. 😂 E2E1CAFE-6216-443D-8581-4398A7E6D3C6.jpeg

“Using the needle nose he grasped the glass and gave it a twist, and just like that I didn’t have windows anymore.” lol.
